Nigeria’s former President Olusegun Obasanjo has urged the Ogun State government to upgrade the primary Health Centre in his village, Ibogun Olaogun, in the Ifo Local Government Area, while highlighting that it provides healthcare services to more than 40 communities.
Obasanjo had made the plea during the yearly Ibogun Olaogun Day celebration held at the community on Tuesday, December 27.
Obasanjo had said, “At least 40 communities patronize the existing health center, while the facility has been overstretched. The health center needs State government attention.”
The Balogun Owu, while appreciating donors for the projects that have been embarked upon by the community, disclosed that the new town hall and palace projects would be pursued rigidly.
He had also promised judicious spending of the donated funds to achieve the completion of the said projects.
