Osun state Police Force is yet to disclose its findings on the alleged Assault of Inspector Bamidele Olorunsogo, by her superior Matthew Ajayi.
The two officers are deployed to Ode Omu police division under Osun’s command, Olorunsogo had accused her superiors of assaulting her after she rejected his sexual advances towards her. She backed her claim with a video that went viral where she displayed the injuries inflicted on her by him.
Seeing the video, Nigerians were enraged and demanded that the police probe into the matter, to prevent such experiences from reoccurring.
The Osun state police Spokesperson, Yemi Opalola, told some news respondents, that The state commissioner of police Sunday Faleye had invited both police officers for questioning.
It’s five days and no report whatsoever from the police, when asked about an update on the case, Opalola replied that they haven’t made any progress on the matter.
“No update yet.”
