The red alert warning had come on the heels of some states confirming cases of Monkeypox in their territories.
This warning had been relayed through a post on the official X handle of the Osun State Government.
The post had urged the residents of the state to remain alert and safe, while outlining the things to know about the dreaded viral disease.
