Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, reacted to claims of song theft filed by his twin brother and former band member of P-Square, Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy. The latter accused Mr P and their ex-producer Vampire of releasing a song titled Winning, which Rudeboy claimed was his song since he wrote it and intended to drop with his forthcoming album.
Mr. P replied that the song was made with an artist known as Calypso60 and only co-owned by his brother. He said such an accusation of “stealing” his own song is baseless, he wants to put a full stop to this row taking place in public, and he asked his brother to stop spreading negativity.
With Winning now up on music streaming platforms, Mr P implored the fans to listen to the music instead of the drama. He wanted to move on and be allowed to enjoy his new work in peace. Publicity of this fight by Okoye brothers has called on reactions of fans. Some are still hoping that they will bury the hatchet finally, but other fans relish the unfolding drama.
