The former governor of Anambra State and the Labour Party candidate for the concluded presidential elections has shared a tweet, commiserating with the family and friends of late Chief Micheal Olasubomi Balogun, the Olori Omoba of Ijebuland and FCMB founder.
In Obi’s tweet, he had praised the late Chief’s visionary leadership in Nigeria’s business sector.
In his words: “As I have always preached, he was a man who believed that individuals should be successful through hard work and enterprise. Through his entrepreneurial success, he created jobs and contributed to the societal growth and development.
I sincerely commiserate with the entire Balogun family, the management & staff of FCMB, the good people of Ijebuland, and the government and people of Ogun State, over this irreplaceable loss. May God grant him eternal rest.” His tweet concluded.
