The traditional ruler of Umucheke, Umuobom in Ideato South Local Government Area of Imo State, Eze Ekene Obinali, has been arrested by Nigerian policemen.
According to reports, the monarch had been arrested by the operatives of the Anti-kidnapping Unit of the state police command for reportedly sharing a write-up heavily criticizing the Governor of the State, Hope Uzodimma on WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, arrest of the monarch, the administrator of the platform, Vitus Ezenwa, the WhatsApp group admin has confirmed the monarch’s arrest.
