Police officers in Kano State have arrested a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress -APC, Aminu Ali Shana, who was in possession of 367 Permanent Voters Cards -PVC, in the state.
The spokesman for the state police command, Haruna Abdullahi, who revealed this to journalists, remarked that the suspect had been taken into their custody for further investigations.
Abdullahi had said that Aminu, who is the APC Chairman in the Yautan Arewa ward in Gabasawa local government area of the state, was caught on October 14 with those PVCs. The officials then dispatched the suspected PVCs to the Independent National Electoral Commission -INEC, for confirmation.
After that, all the individuals whose faces appeared on the voters’ cards would probably be invited for questioning in the course of the investigation.
