The offence of rape remains the most commonest of personal violence. A 34-years-old Motorcycle rider, popularly known as Okada has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command, the suspect, Abdullahi Musa, was arrested for having forced sexual intercourse with a 24-years-old lady.
This revelation was made by the Police spokesperson of the state, Bright Edafe via his Twitter page on Wednesday, May 23.
According to his tweet, The victim had arrived in Asaba from Benin on February 20, and had entered the suspect’s bike, to her location. But, rather than taking her to the address, the bike man diverted into the bush, and raped the victim through the anus.
The matter was reported to the police, and investigations was being carried out when the suspect was nabbed on Saturday, May 20.
Edafe had then, further advised citizens and residents of Nigeria, to be cautious, especially at night, and in unfamiliar locations.
