The Premier League has announced its eight nominees for the November 2024 Player of the Month award, with some of the heavyweights in football such as Bukayo Saka and Bruno Fernandes among other standout performers.
Leading the pack of contenders is Wolves forward Matheus Cunha, who, after an excellent month, scored three goals and provided three assists to directly contribute to six goals. Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes also made the shortlist, leading an unbeaten run since Erik ten Hag’s exit by creating a league-high 14 chances, scoring twice, and assisting once.
Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch earned recognition for his instrumental role in helping the Reds extend their lead atop the table while further entrenching himself in Jurgen Klopp’s side. Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard returned from injury to deliver in all three November fixtures, contributing either a goal or an assist on each match while creating 11 chances, which ranked second in the league.
Joao Pedro of Brighton dazzled with four goal contributions in just 161 minutes, while Bukayo Saka’s two goals and three assists kept Arsenal’s form intact. Mohamed Salah shone once again for Liverpool, playing a hand in five of their seven goals, solidifying his favorite status for the award.
Rounding out the list is Brentford’s Yoane Wissa, who scored three clinical goals from four shots on target. The winner will be revealed soon as fans await in great anticipation.
