In line with the proclamation of the 10th National Assembly, President Tinubu will be meeting with the opposition Senators and the House of Reps members on Monday, June 5.
The agenda for the meeting is yet to be ascertained at the time of writing this report but it is believed that the talks would centre around the goal to strengthen the harmonious relationship between the Executive and Legislative arms of government as well as adjusting the processes of electing the leadership of the National Assembly.
According to the invitation letter, the meeting with senators would commence by 3 pm while that of the members of the House of Representatives would start by 5 pm.
The invitation, signed by the Permanent Secretary of the State House, Tijanni Umar, had additionally urged the lawmakers to attend the meeting and submit their list for security clearance.
