On Wednesday, Protesters besieged the National Assembly to seek justice for victims of the airstrike that killed some villagers in Tudun Diri, Kaduna State.
Recall that on Sunday, a military drone ‘erroneously’ killed several villagers who were marking the Maulud festival.
Nasir Ishaku, the leader of the National Youth Council of Nigeria and Arewa Youth Movement, had charged the Minister of Defence, to resign if he couldn’t secure the lives and properties of people in his care.

Ishaku, had reiterated that the killing of innocent Nigerians in the North “on a daily” was unacceptable and wouldn’t be tolerated any more.
He had said: “The security situation in the country keeps declining since his Badaru’s inception as Minister of Defence.”
“These NYCN and AYM have a moral obligation to express our complaints because Nigeria is in disarray, in terms of security of lives and property, particularly in Northern Nigeria.”
“Nigeria keeps losing officials of the armed forces (the army, the air force, the navy and Nigeria Police Force members). Northern university students are still being held captive and no one knows their whereabouts.”
“These are glaring indications that the minister is inept to handle the sensitive ministry he’s appointed in. Therefore, he should either wake up to his responsibilities and take charge or resign.”
