Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy of the P-Square duo, has issued a stern warning against a social media user who accused him of inappropriate conduct involving a domestic staff member.
The controversy erupted after photos from the 25th birthday celebration of his wife, Ivy Ifeoma, went viral on X (formerly Twitter). The images sparked conversations about the couple’s age gap, with one user, @Zoyabloms, who identifies as “Evil Feminist,” mocking the difference. Another account, @darkskinnedtemi, also identifying as a feminist, escalated the discussion with more serious claims.
Things intensified when an account under the name @chubbiedivah accused Rudeboy of infidelity with his housemaid.
The user went further, alleging that the singer coerced the domestic worker while she was still underage, and that he sent his former wife and her sister away when they challenged him over the matter.
The post, which quickly gained traction, was flagged by fans who alerted Rudeboy. The “Reason With Me” crooner, who typically avoids online disputes, wasted no time in addressing the accusation.
In his response, Rudeboy directly threatened legal consequences for the user behind the claim.
He wrote: “I hardly reply, but you see this one @chubbiedivah, if you like go private or leave X, I will find you, I will use every necessary means, power, resources and money. You will face the law, I will use you to set an example, a scapegoat. Your only way out is to leave the surface of this earth and relocate to space. To everyone that brought my attention to her tweet, thank you.”
Shortly after his reaction, the account in question deactivated both her X and Instagram pages, a move many interpreted as an attempt to dodge the backlash and possible legal consequences.
Rudeboy’s vow to pursue the matter has since stirred conversation online, with many of his supporters urging him to follow through to discourage the spread of unverified allegations against public figures.
