The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has released a goodwill message to all Nigerian fathers on the occasion of Father’s Day.
The governor had this to say in a tweet shared on his verified Twitter page:
“On this Father’s Day, I want to take a minute to honour and celebrate all the fathers in Lagos State.
I have seen in person, the tireless dedication and sacrifice that fathers constantly make for their families and communities.
Whether it’s working long hours to provide for their loved ones and families, showing love, care and giving counsel or merely being a positive role model, dads play a huge role in moulding the future of our society.
So to all the fathers out there, thank you for your unwavering love and commitment.
