The former governor of Ekiti State, Segun Oni, has denied claims of him working to help actualize the presidential bid of the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This information had been contained in a statement issued by the Director of Media and Publicity, Segun Oni Campaign Organisation, Jackson Adebayo, on Friday, February 17 in Ado-Ekiti.
One, who had been the candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in the last governorship election in Ekiti State had tagged a statement credited to Mr. Oyetunde Ojo alleging him of working with ex-governor Ayo Fayose to actualize Tinubu’s Presidential bid as a highly dishonest statement and a very cheap lie.’
According to Oni, there was nothing that could coerce him to work for Tinubu, as Tinubu’s handprints had been very glaring in the rigged last Ekiti Governorship election.
Oni had therefore cautioned individuals to not overstretch their tolerance as he could not imagine why the false information peddler would state that he (Oni) with Fayose would collaborate in the business of running such errands.
