Senegal has secured their ticket to the knockout stages of the U-20 African Cup of Nations as they thrashed Mozambique 3-0 on Wednesday at the Cairo International Stadium.
Pape Amadou Diallo scored the first goal for the Terenga Lions in the 45th minute, putting Senegal in the lead.
Demba Diop made it 2-0 in the 53rd minute, Amadou Diallo tripled Senegal’s lead in the 85th minute. This Victory indicates that Senegal has secured their spot in the knockout stages of the U-20 AFCON.
Recall that The Terenga Lions Won the 2022 AFCON, and their U-20 might be heading toward winning the title.
