Spotify Reveals Top 30 Globally Streamed Nigerian Songs in First Half of 2025

Music streaming platform Spotify has released its list of the 30 most streamed Nigerian songs globally for the first half of 2025, highlighting the increasing international reach of Nigerian artists.

The ranking features tracks by Nigerian musicians as well as collaborations that include Nigerian talent, with streaming data focused on plays outside the country.

Afrobeats star Davido led the pack with nine tracks from his fifth studio album 5ive making the list. He was closely followed by Burna Boy, who secured five spots with a mix of solo tracks and collaborations.

Spotify Reveals Top 30 Globally Streamed Nigerian Songs in First Half of 2025

At the top of the chart is Rema’s smash hit “Baby (Is It A Crime)”, which holds the title of the most streamed Nigerian song globally so far this year. The second spot went to Shallipopi’s “Laho,” while Davido’s “With You” featuring Omah Lay came in third.

Other songs rounding out the top five include Chella’s “My Darling” at number four, and Burna Boy’s “Tatata” featuring American rapper Travis Scott at number five.

Also featured in the top 10 are “Zazaza” by Frenna and Shallipopi, Coldplay’s “We Pray” featuring Burna Boy, Burna Boy’s “Update,” “Laho II” by Shallipopi featuring Burna Boy, and Davido’s “Be There Still.”

The list reflects the continued dominance of Afrobeats on the global music scene and the cross-continental appeal of Nigerian music.
