Adanne a film by Dabby Chimere is out with the cast. The lead character is Lilian Afegbai alongside Simply Tacha in Big Brother Naija, the actress Shaffy Bello, Ik Ogbonna and Alex Ekubo.
“Adanne” movie shows how family relationships can be complicated. Written by Francis Uzoma Disney, “Adanne” revolves around two sisters Adanna and Ijeoma. Adanna sacrifices everything to make sure that her sister advances, but after getting married to a rich man Ijeoma abandons her younger sibling.
Therefore, ‘Adanne’ follows the life of a stripper called Adanna as she struggles to survive in the cruel world stripped from any forms of helplessness and loyalty.
According to Chimere’s Instagram page, this story tells about the intricate web called sisterhood and family relations. Also, the director emphasized deep betrayal as well as unconditional love and undying loyalty that are explored in it thus promising viewers an emotional roller-coaster experience.
In addition, Chimere thanked her crew and cast for their hard work on this film claiming that she believes deeply in their collective ability to bring these types of stories fully alive.
Her film Head Over Bills made its debut on Prime Video on February 4th 2024 which brought her into fame. It portrayed lives of Ofili sisters as they went through moments of turmoil.
