One of the key organizers of the Take It Back Movement for the #EndBadGovernance nationwide protest, has planned a one-million-man protest in all the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja on Saturday, August 10.

Sanyaolu Juwon, the National Coordinator of the movement had said this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.

Recall that the #EndBadGovernance protests which aimed at calling the attention of the government to the hardship bedeviling the citizens had kicked off on August 1 and is expected to conclude on Saturday, August 10.

Although the protest was hijacked by criminal elements,
The exercise recorded a huge turnout of citizens across the country, especially in the northern states even though it was hijacked by criminal elements.

President Bola Tinubu had while addressing the nation in a live broadcast on Sunday, asked the protesters to back down and give his administration more time, but the protest had persisted in Abuja, Kano and some other parts of the country.

What They’re Saying

Sanyaolu Juwon had said,
“The Take It Back Movement (TIB), side-by-side with other organizers and organizations will on August 10, lead a monumental one-million-man protest in each of the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

“This event will mark a critical juncture in our nationwide EndBadGovernanceInNigeria campaign, which began on August 1, 2024.

“It began as a planned 10-day protest but has evolved into a sustained and widespread movement, drawing participants from every corner of Nigeria and the diaspora.” The statement concluded.
