Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Temilade Openiyi aka Tems was one of the elite people invited to the Met Gala event which holds every year in New York.
The talented singer debuted a startling fashion statement that got her a lot of praise on Twitter as one of the most stylishly dressed celebrities at the exhibit held at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
For this year’s event, the theme was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” to honor the late fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld.
Tems had been styled by Dunsin Wright and she wore a custom Rober Wun dress with a black corset-like top, a flowing regal white finish at the bottom, paired with elbow-length gloves.
Other celebrities who attended the exclusive event included, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky; the Kardashian-Jenner sisters: Kim, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner; Serena Williams and Bad Bunny to name a few.
