Three 40ft containers had on Friday, March 20, fall in different areas of Lagos State.
The incidents had occurred in Ikeja Underbridge, Mile 12, and Ojuelegba areas of the state.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA had on Friday morning at around 6:55 am announced that a 40ft container had fallen off a trailer on the Ojuelegba bridge inward Stadium. Traffic had then been diverted on the bridge as the incident blockaded the entire main carriageway.
The second container incident happened near the General Hospital at Ikeja Underbridge had occurred at about 7 am.
Then later on in the afternoon, the traffic management authority tweeted that another container had fallen along Mile 12, Ikorodu road.
At the time of filing this report, there is currently no access through the service lane.
According to LASTMA, recovery efforts are still ongoing. There were no casualties from the three accidents.
