Timini Egbuson has shut down long-standing rumors about his love life, stating clearly that he is not the womaniser many believe him to be.
The Nollywood star attributed the public misconception to his image but said his reality is far less dramatic.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Culture League podcast — which also featured Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface and comedian Bovi — the 38-year-old actor opened up about his relationship status and demanding work life.
He noted that the nature of his career leaves little room for romantic entanglements.
“People often think I’m outside a lot, but I’m not,” he said. “For the past two or three years, I’ve barely had time for myself, let alone multiple relationships. I’m on set all day, I get home exhausted, and the last thing I want to do is start texting someone.”
Egbuson revealed he has been single for several years, pointing out that his schedule doesn’t permit the kind of lifestyle he’s often accused of leading. Despite being labelled a “bad boy,” he said the perception doesn’t bother him — in fact, he finds it amusing.
Best known for his standout roles in Nollywood hits, Egbuson remains one of the industry’s top leading men, with a career that continues to soar.
