According to a report from Friday, Tottenham Hotspur are about to name Igor Tudor as interim manager up to the season’s end after discharging Thomas Frank.
The 47-year-old Croatian is said to have agreed verbally with Spurs, and the club will probably announce the agreement soon. Tudor was last managing Juventus, and in October, he was dismissed after a winless streak of eight matches that saw the Italian team drop to the eighth position in Serie A.
Apart from Juventus, he has worked with Lazio and Marseille and remarkably led Juventus to the fourth spot in 2024- 25 season after only one loss in his first 11 matches.

Tudor’s arrival is highly anticipated after Frank was relieved of his duties ensuing a 2-1 loss to Newcastle United, thus Spurs are only five points above the drop zone after 17 league games in which they have won just twice. The club has made the decision to go with a short-term fix as they consider the long-term options, a number of which revolve around Mauricio Pochettino being in charge again.
The squad has had some downtime after their defeat in the FA Cup, and Tudor will probably oversee the team for the next game of Tottenham, a north London derby against the league’s best, Arsenal, on February 22.
