The summer transfer window is really getting busy with a series of top players moving around confirmed on July 2, as clubs all over Europe prepare their teams for the new season.

Chelsea have come out to confirm that they have bought the Brazilian striker Joao Pedro from Brighton for £60 million. The 22-year-old who was the top scorer last season has agreed to an eight-year contract and he will be with the Blues for the Club World Cup game against Palmeiras.

On the other hand, Atletico Madrid have filled their middle line with the €45 million signing of Villarreal’s Alex Baena, along with an extra €5 million as possible bonuses. The Spanish player is to be given a prominent position in Diego Simeone’s sold-out squad.

After they reached an agreement, the club of Feyenoord shared the exciting news of the arrival of the Dutch U21 star Luciano Valente who comes from FC Groningen for an initial payment of €7 million, possibly going up to €8.25 million if certain conditions are met. The 21-year-old has committed four seasons to the club and will be donning the number 40 shirt.

Also, the notable moves include Jarell Quansah’s €30 million switch from Liverpool to Bayer Leverkusen, Sunderland’s €35 million signing of Habib Diarra, and reports linking Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres with Arsenal.
