The United Nations nuclear chief is currently in Iran for scheduled talks with President Ebrahim Raisi and other dignitaries after the discovery of uranium particles enriched to near weapons-grade level had been made. The UN Chief will be addressing the Iranian President via a press conference.
Rafael Grossi arrived in Iran on Friday, March 3 to revisit the dialogue on Iran’s atomic work.
The two-day visit by the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA, is coming as the Vienna-based organization seeks to cooperate even more with Iran over its nuclear activities.
The discovery of the uranium came after Iran had substantially modified an interconnection between two centrifuge clusters enriching uranium, without announcing it to the IAEA.
