The issue of unknown gun men is no longer news to Nigerians, as it seems they have branches in every part of the country where they unleash terror on residents. The latest trend of these unidentified men is to kidnap religious personnel and demand ransom. Just today, in Anambra state, these unknown gunmen struck again as they kidnapped the General Overseer of the Christian Practical praying band, Elder Dan Nwokolo.
According to some residents, the gunmen forcefully gained entry into Nwokolo’s residence situated in Orumba North LGA Anambra state and kidnapped him to an unknown location. As gathered, no contacts have been made by the Kidnappers.
All efforts to reach Tochukwu Ikenga, the public relations officer of the police force in Anambra state to confirm the incident have proved abortive, as all calls and messages sent to his phone have been unanswered.
