Social media critic, Verydarkman, has assumed a new character that is raising eyebrows on all platforms. Presenting himself as the “Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP, online division,” Verydarkman appeared in an attire that was almost similar to that of the Nigerian Police in his latest video. He promised to “sanitize” social media, exposing injustice, as well as holding online vendors responsible.
Verydarkman was quick to draw a line, insisting he was not an activist; rather, his work was digital enforcement against exploitation. Speaking bluntly, and unapologetic, he told critics, “You can’t fight for Nigeria with respect; that’s why I will continue to be disrespectful”.
This self-proclaimed “CSP” role has stirred waves of reaction on the internet. While supporters are in awe of how he can go ahead directly and bravely plunge into many social issues, more skeptical voices consider him too aggressive. Either way, Verydarkman’s uninhibited attitude toward this brand of “online justice” remains in the spotlight.
