Xavi Hernadez, Barcelona’s head coach has pleaded with fans to be more patient with the club, after Real Madrid thrashed them 3-1 on Sunday afternoon, in the first leg of the 250th El Classico la Liga Game. Benzema, Federico, and Rodrygo all registered goals for Madrid.
Barcelona is not currently in the best of shape this season, as they risk being relegated to the Europa League after they drew their last match with AC Milan in the UEFA champions league during the week.
Xavi on speaking on the current state of the club has said that they’ll have to change their minds if they want to contend for titles. He further pleaded that he takes responsibility for all their losses as the club is still undergoing some changes.
As reported by respected transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano on his personal Twitter account, Xavi said: “We have to change our minds if we want to win titles. I don’t target the players, I’m the most responsible We’re starting a project, we’re a team under construction”
