Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has revealed that he recently donated N10.2 million to people on the streets, describing it as his own form of tithe.
Speaking during an interview with Broadway TV, the actor explained that the amount represented 10 per cent of the N102 million he earned from movie roles in recent times.
According to him, the decision to give directly to the less privileged stems from his personal beliefs about tithing and religion.

“Not to brag but I am the richest actor. The last time I checked my book, I realised that I have made N102 million from artist’s fee lately. Not in my whole career but just of recent,” he said.
He added, “I donated N10.2 million, which is 10 per cent of the money to the needy on the street.”
The actor also made it clear that he does not subscribe to paying tithe through religious institutions.
“I don’t pay tithe to the church. I don’t go to the church. I don’t believe in paying tithe to the church,” he explained.
His comments have since sparked conversations online, with many reacting to his stance on giving and religious practices.
