Deontay Wilder has said that he anticipates a fight with Nigerian Britain professional boxer, Anthony Joshua in Africa.

Wilder who is aiming to become world champion again after holding the title for five years, has expressed his desire to fight with the two-time heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua.

According to the 36 years old boxer, he would love for the fight to be scheduled to take place in Africa, considering that his fans want him to take on Anthony Joshua in a Fight. And since they are both from Africa what place is more appropriate for the fight than where they have their roots, Africa?

He further added that it would be lovely to visit his home and have the fight in his motherland, where the people will all love and appreciate them.

“I would love to do that fight in Africa,” Wilder told BBC Sport.

“It’s still the number one fight in the world for everyone. Everywhere I go, people always talk about me versus Joshua.”

“We both have roots from there,” Wilder explained.

“I think it would be an amazing place to have it, to go back home. To go back to the motherland, A continent full of our people. I can just see that being an amazing fight, win, lose or draw.

“I think we’ll get the respect and love from all the people over there.”
