Afrobeats sensation Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, attained an unprecedented number in the highest single-day streams on Spotify Nigeria. His latest single, Kese (Dance), achieved 1.57 million streams within a day. He broke his old record of 1.016 million streams in a single day with his song called Piece of My Heart, featuring Brent Faiyaz.
The song also created history as it became the African song with the biggest opening day streams on global Spotify, peaking at 2.753 million streams.
Kese (Dance) is one of the lead singles off Wizkid’s much-hyped album Morayo, expected later this month. The album is a heartfelt dedication to his late mother, Mrs Morayo Jane Balogun.
