WWC: Why Other Opponents Will be Scared of Super Falconets.

Dosu Joseph, an ex-super-eagles keeper, has said that super Falconets have turned themselves to become an unstoppable Force in the tournament, considering their fantastic performance in all their match fixtures in the 2022 U-20 Women’s World Cup in Coast Rica.

On Sunday Super Falconets secured their ticket to the quarter-finals after defeating the Republic of South Korea on a 1-0 win. Esther Onyenezide scored the saving goal that gave the super Falcons victory over South Korea. The ladies are to face Canada on Wednesday.

Dosu in an interview said that he is pleased with their performance so far at the tournament, as this shows the players are very determined. Gaining victory over France and South Korea will give the players momentum to push to the next stage, and of course, other teams will not take them for granted, considering their performances.

“I want to believe the Super Falconets have done a very good job to have qualified to the knockout stages of the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup with a game to spare.”

“This is simply a sign of determination from the players to make the country proud. Beating teams like France and South Korea will boost the confidence of the players. I really don’t think other teams will take them for a ride any longer because they will be considered a threat.”
