Controversial critic VeryDarkMan has unveiled evidence against renowned Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo amid her legal battle with her former label boss.

Recall that Mercy Chinwo and her former label boss, Eezee Tee, are currently in a legal dispute, with the Gospel singer alleging fraud and financial exploitation.

In a new twist to the lawsuit controversy, VeryDarkMan has stepped in, presenting evidence against Mercy Chinwo.

Mercy Chinwo’s Lawsuit Takes New Turn With VeryDarkMan’s Evidence

In a video shared on Instagram on Monday, VeryDarkMan alleged, with evidence, that the prosecutor and the presiding judge in the case have close connections to Mercy Chinwo.

The critic alleged that the prosecutor, Rotimi Oyedepo, had been sanctioned by the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) for purported human rights violations.

Additionally, VeryDarkMan alleged that the presiding judge, Michael Nzekwe, follows Mercy Chinwo on Instagram, raising concerns about his ties to the singer.

He voiced concerns about possible favoritism and urged the judge to step down because of his connection to Mercy Chinwo.

Captioning the post, he wrote, “After my investigation this is the shocking revelation I got from ezze concept and mercy chinwo case, with these evidence the judge of the case should be taken off the case with immediate effect and @officialefcc should change the prosecutor of this case immediately, is this how the body of Christ work? Is this what the Bible teaches, body of connection, use church to fyght, make una kuku kpai ezze concept.”

This legal battle between Mercy Chinwo and her former label boss, Eezee Tee, has garnered significant attention. Chinwo, a well-known Nigerian Gospel singer, accuses Eezee Tee of financial misconduct, claiming that he misappropriated her earnings from various digital platforms, amounting to an estimated $345,000 in royalties. She alleges that Eezee Tee withheld her funds, doctored financial reports, and manipulated contractual agreements in his favour, including altering the terms of her contract from 2017 to a new version in 2019. The updated contract reportedly gave him lifetime ownership of her music, which Chinwo argues left her with no control over her career.

The case took a dramatic turn when VeryDarkMan, known for his controversial criticisms, began publicly highlighting what he sees as potential biases in the ongoing trial. His allegations have raised concerns about the integrity of the legal process, adding further complexity to the already contentious situation.

As the legal proceedings continue, both sides are gearing up for what promises to be a highly charged and complex case. Mercy Chinwo’s legal team has dismissed the accusations of bias, insisting that the process will be fair. Meanwhile, Eezee Tee, who has denied all allegations, maintains that he has been transparent in his financial dealings with Chinwo and believes the ongoing dispute stems from misunderstandings.

The case is expected to drag on, with both parties presenting their evidence in court.
