The housemates of Big Brother Naija Season 10, tagged 10/10, have suffered their first major setback in the show after losing their weekly wager challenge on Friday.
This week’s task required the housemates to create a dramatic performance based on a ball-themed concept with elements of unmasking.
However, the final presentation failed to meet expectations, drawing sharp criticism from Big Brother, popularly known as Biggie.
Delivering his verdict after the show, Biggie did not hold back: “Such an unremarkable performance.
Housemates, your presentation lacks imagination and substance.
Big Brother’s verdict will be as disappointing as your performance. You have lost your wager.”
The loss means that the housemates will not receive any new groceries or luxury items for the week. Instead, they’ll have to survive on the remaining food supplies currently in the house.
In addition to the poor performance, Biggie also warned the housemates about their conduct during the task, particularly slow responses and multiple microphone infringements.
The wager task is a weekly highlight of the BBNaija show, designed to test housemates’ teamwork, creativity, and ability to deliver under pressure. A win typically earns them a restocked fridge and luxury privileges, while failure often breeds tension, blame, and friction among contestants.
