Nollywood star Daniel Etim-Effiong recently opened up about why his wife holds the top spot in his heart, even ahead of his children.
Speaking on his podcast Mansplanation, which he co-hosts with Eso Dike, the actor highlighted the significance of marriage as a committed partnership.

“I love my wife more than I love my children,” he admitted, emphasizing that while his children are deeply cherished, the bond with their mother comes first.
“My wife comes first, and then my children come after. Although they have a really, really special place in my heart, their mom comes first,” he said. “I can have more children with her; I can’t have children with my children.”
Etim-Effiong described marriage as a “working relationship,” pointing out that it requires effort, understanding, and teamwork to nurture a family.
“What I have with my wife is a partnership; we decided we are going to build this family, it is a working relationship,” he explained.
The actor has been married to Toyosi Etim-Effiong since 2017, and together they have three children. He is celebrated for his performances in Nollywood films and series, including the Netflix hit Blood Sisters.
