Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, has remarked that the petrol and naira scarcity was part of a ploy to stop the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, from winning the 2023 presidential elections.
According to the Speaker, the naira redesign was a well-thought-out policy, that had been hijacked and politicized by unscrupulous elements as the plot had been a failure since Nigerians were still keeping faith with the APC and Tinubu despite the hardships they were going through.
Gbajabiamila had then assured the citizens of the country that the House of Reps was working hard to save citizens from the present hardships by bringing relief as soon as possible.
