There have been several complaints as regards the Collation of the February 25th elections, Nigerians have complained about the failure of INEC to upload the results on the IReV portal as earlier promised by the INEC chairman, but to the surprise of Nigerians, the results were not uploaded. The credibility of the INEC as an independent umpire is being doubted by Nigerians.

A protest was carried by some women under the umbrella of ‘Angry Women’ in Abuja, the protest saw the women blocking the main road to the International Conference Centre, which is the venue for the Collation of elections results, the reason for the protest is the several irregularities with the election results.

They demanded that the Independent National Electoral Commission explain to them why the election results have not been uploaded on the IReV portal and threatened to go naked if their demands are not met.

There was no INEC official to address the Women, but a security officer pleaded with the women to leave the road and promised to relay their message to the appropriate authorities.
