The Kano State Government has just lifted the dawn-to-dusk curfew it had previously imposed in the state.
Recall that the state government on Monday, March 20 imposed the curfew intending to avoid a breakdown of law and order in the state.
The directive had come after tensions brought by the collation of results of the governorship and state Assembly elections.
The state Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Malam Muhammad Garba, announced a statement issued on Monday night and he said that the decision had come after the situation in the state had been carefully reviewed.
The commissioner had called on commercial banks, public servants, and the residents in the state to continue their normal activities.
