Adam Shola, a labourer, has been sentenced to four years imprisonment by a High court in Kaduna on Thursday, June 1 for dealing and selling illicit drugs known as Marijuana.
According to the Prosecutor, T.I Aserhegh, Adam was arrested May 5, in Kawo Bustop Kaduna, after he was caught with selling drugs. They also recovered from him 5kg of Cannabis Sativa. He has breached sec 11(C) of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Act Cap 30, LFN
The accused has pleaded guilty to the charge laid before him, The counsel for the accused, asked to judge to be lenient with his Judgement, as the accused has already confessed to the crime.
The Presiding justice, Justice Garba Mohammed, having found the accused guilty, sentenced him to four years of Imprisonment.
