Nigerian singer and dancer Ms. Korra Obidi has revealed that she was attacked with a knife and acid during a livestream in the United Kingdom.
Obidi, a mother of two, disclosed the incident in an Instagram post on Thursday. She described the attacker as a black woman, around five feet tall, and mentioned that she has faced hateful remarks in the past. This physical assault serves as a wake-up call for her.
“Currently on my way to the hospital in an ambulance, there was a knife and acid attack on me in the UK during a livestream,” she explained. “There’s been a lot of hate in the past, but this physical assault is a wake-up call.”
