A 17 Years Old Boy Has Been Arrested For Defiling Two Minors in Kano.

A 17-year-old has been arrested for allegedly having unlawful sexual intercourse with two minors, ages seven and six years old respectively.

This news was by the Kano state police Commissioner, Mr. Mamman Dauda in an interview with news respondents.

According to him, they received intel from an outsider complaining that the suspect manipulated the two children to enter his room in Badwa Layout Quarters, Kano.

He then tied their mouths and raped them, the children have been taken to the Abdullahi Ease Teaching Hospital Kano for treatment.

He further said that the suspect will be charged to court, on completion of all investigations.

He said, “On April 2, at about 3 p.m., the police received a distress call that the suspect allegedly lured a seven and six-year-old into his room in Badawa Layout Quarters, Kano.

The suspect gagged them and defiled them. The victims were rushed to the Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital Kano for treatment.

“Investigation is ongoing and once completed the suspect will be charged to court,” Dauda added.

Rape is one of the commonest crimes of personal violence, despite the punishment meted out to rapists, the crime is still being committed on daily basis. Many people have suggested that Rape should be taken as a very serious offense and punished severely.
