Popular comedian and content creator Adesokan Emmanuel, better known as Shank Comics, recently opened up about his father’s religious change.
In a viral clip from a chat with another content creator in Canada, Shank Comics revealed that his father, who was initially Muslim, embraced Christianity after a church offered him a meal during a difficult time.
He explained, “I’m a Christian, even though my name, Saheed, is Muslim. My dad used to practice Islam, but when he was very hungry, a church gave him food, and that led to his conversion. Honestly, my dad is quite thrifty—we were just hungry.”
The candid confession has since sparked widespread discussion across social media platforms.
