The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Mr. Omoyele Sowore has arrived in Kano today, January 15, ahead of the Northwest congress of the Peoples Redemption Party scheduled to hold on Monday, January 16, 2023.
The National Congress had convened to mobilize support for the Sowore/Magashi ticket and to seal the alliance between both political parties — the AAC and PRP.
A prior congress of the PRP held in Northeast Gombe had announced its support for the presidential candidate of the AAC, Mr. Sowore. Thereafter, a joint press conference of the two aligning political parties at the NUJ secretariat in FCT Abuja.
Recall that in December 2022, the AAC and the PRP had revealed that they were
formalizing an alliance to ‘free’ millions of Nigerians from the shackles of corrupt and greedy politicians who have held the country, hostage, for many years.
Sowore had previously at a press conference held in Abuja to formalize the union
between the two parties said that the essence of the alliance was to overthrow and
defeat the evil system of oppression and injustice in Nigeria and put an end to the reign of deceit that has since independence, enslaved the citizens of Nigeria.
