A Los Angeles jury found A$AP Rocky, the partner of Barbadian music star Rihanna, not guilty of all charges in his felony criminal trial on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old was faced with two felony charges of assault with a semiautomatic firearm related to the shooting of his former friend, A$AP Relli.
The incident occurred in Los Angeles, California, in November 2021.
Rihanna was brought to tears as the verdict was read after the three-week trial.
A$AP Rocky, a three-time Grammy nominee, faced up to 24 years in prison if found guilty in the case.
A$AP Rocky swiftly rushed to embrace the music superstar.
“Thanks y´all for saving my life,” A$AP Rocky told the jury, which was composed of seven women and five men.
Rihanna expressed her relief later on Wednesday through a post on her Instagram Stories.
