The Federal Capital Territory police command has arrested many suspected terrorists in a hotel in the Masaka area of Nasarawa State, North Central Nigeria.

According to the security operatives’ report, the hotel had been the hideout for the
criminals.

Masaka, a district in Karu Local Government Area in Nasarawa, is 21 km away from
Abuja.

In a video released by the security operatives’ guns, bulletproof vests, and ammunition among others allegedly recovered from the suspects had been shown.

Ramhan Nansel, the spokesman for the Nasarawa State Police Command of the
NSCDC, confirmed the arrest on Friday, January 13, and revealed the operation was
carried out by the Federal Capital Territory Command because of the closeness of the community to Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
