Ajibade and Ohale make it to the Team of the Tournament shortlist.

Super falcons might not have made it to the top three at the just concluded WAFCON 22 games, but they did perform extremely well. Osinachi Ohale and Rasheedat Ajibade make it to the best XI of the 2022 WAFCON game.

Osinachi Ohale, who plays center-back for Spanish Primera Division club Deportivo Alaves and Super Falcons participated in all six games, and won the woman of the match award, at the game against Burundi.

Rasheedat Busayo Ajibade who plays as a forward for Athletico de Madrid and super falcons, performed extremely well at the just concluded WAFCON 22 games, she was given a red card at the semi-finals of WAFCON tournament which prevented her from participating in the game between Zambia for third place position in the tournament. She scored three goals and provided two assists, she was named the top scorer of the just concluded WAFCON games.

Four players from the Bayana Bayana team of South Africa made it to the shortlist, the Atlass Lionesses of Morocco have three players on the list, and The copper queens of Zambia have two players on the list.
