Following accusations of mistreatment from his purported father, Fatai Odunsi, Nigerian artist Asake has now spoken out.
A video of the musician’s alleged father seeking financial assistance after suffering a stroke garnered media attention on Thursday.
In his first reaction to the incident, Asake voiced his opinions in a TikTok video on Friday.
The “Terminator” singer urged fans to commit everything to God in an emotional song that emphasised how impossible it is to please everyone.
Asake further revealed that, despite getting a considerable sum of money from him, his father continued to cajole him.
He said, “You Can’t Please Everyone, You Can’t Please the world, But anything you are doing just do it for God, My Own Father Wants to Cajole Me and I Have Sent So Much Money to him, I have struggled for so many years but they want to make Life to Tire Me”
