Governor of Bauchi state, Bala Mohammed, has dissolved the Executive Council of bauchi state today.
The Governor made this known through his Special Adviser on Media, Mukthar Gidado, who said that Bala Mohammed “has approved with immediate effect the dissolution of members of the State Executive Council, as well as other political appointees which include the secretary to the state Government (SSG), the Chief of staff (COS) Government House and Special Advisers, while retaining advisers on Security, National and State Assembly, Social Investment and Special Adviser media and Publicity.
According to him, “all commisioners are to hand over the affairs of the ministries to their respective permanent secretaries, while the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief of staff (COS) Government House and other affected Special Advisers are to handover to the most senior permanent secretary in the government House who is equally directed to take inventory of government property.”
The Governor further thanked all political appointees for their wonderful service rendered, while wishing them the best in their future endeavour.
