Former Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate, Nelly, has shed light on the end of her relationship with fellow contestant Sooj, attributing it to family-related issues.
During a recent episode of the reunion show, Nelly confirmed that the romantic bond they shared while in the house had ended.
While she refrained from going into full detail, she implied that family matters were the main reason for their split.
“A lot of things happened [between me and Sooj]. But I can’t tell you because it’s a family matter. It’s a family thing between me and Sooj,” she said.
It was previously reported that the duo became close during their time in the house, sparking widespread interest from fans.
However, Sooj had expressed doubts about the future of their relationship after Nelly revealed she had undergone a Brazilian butt lift and had a tattoo.
His close friend, Topper, had also voiced concerns, suggesting the relationship might not last beyond the show due to Sooj’s family background and their values.
