Reality star, Mercy Eke, has gone on to apologize after a tweet from her account described Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate Onyeka as a “gold digger.” The tweet, now deleted , said Onyeka was with Ozee Mbadiwe, a fellow housemate, for his cash.
“Onyeka the Mbadiwe gold digger, sorry to burst your bubbles there’s no gold in the twins… #BBnaija”.
The tweet immediately sent the fans into a storm as they roasted Eke for the comment. Reacting to the heat, Mercy Eke clarified that the post was not made from her hand but from her social media handler.
Eke lamented in an apologetic Instagram post: “Can’t believe I’m waking up to this on my birthday. A handler that was supposed to post my birthday content and reply to wishes was involving herself in BBN drama, and now I have to deal with this mess
Taking to her social media page, Eke went ahead to distance herself from the incident, saying she has moved on from the Big Brother Naija drama and reiterated that the post is not a reflection of her views. She also apologized to Onyeka and her fans for the embarrassing situation.
