The American singer brought to the stage several athletes from Team USA, which was a Live sight for everyone watching. Emerged from the background dressed in the colors of the American flag; Beyoncé wore ‘’USA’’ colored leotard, flowing cape & cowboy boots and hat. Having her current album titled ‘Cowboy Carter’ with a hit titled ‘Ya Ya,’ she took her entrance dramatically.
“Y’all, take a glimpse of America,” To which she pointed towards the group of American athletes, thus emphasizing the fact of race and togetherness. In regards to the team, she referred to them as the superstars for the nation,charged with the responsibility of fufilling the dreams of the nation.
Many sportsmen were present, for instance, Simone Biles, Sha’Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles, Caeleb Dressel, and Katie Ledecky, with her encouraging words bringing joy to the audience.
“That pride and that joy? That’s what gets me about this team,” she said, making her conclusion about the athlete and their readiness, as well as showing excitement about their performances during the two weeks of the competition. After that, she encouraged people to come together and celebrate, with her parting words to, ‘Get up on your feet for Team USA’.
